Secure, safe and responsible usage guidelines
- Log on to the service by typing the URL in the address bar. Make sure that the page opening is from genuine service provider.
- While logging on to FedOne, always check the URL in the address bar of your internet browser. Be sure the URL you are accessing has https://. The letter s at the end of https means secured and the site uses encryption for enhanced safety.
- To login to FedOne, Federal Bank's internet banking site, please type www.federalbank.co.in in the address bar of the browser and then click the FedOne link provided at the home page. Never make use of links provided / stored anywhere else.
- Do not store passwords in a file on ANY electronic devices (including mobile/ desktop/ Laptop or similar devices) without encryption.
- Enter your user-id and password only in the space provided in the FedOne site login screen. If you notice any changes from the normal and feel that there is an attempt to steal your personal information, please drop a mail to contact@federalbank.co.in or call our Toll Free numbers 1800-420-1199 / 1800-425-1199 to report the same.
- Never share your passwords. Do not divulge your password to anyone including Bank officials.
- Look for the padlock icon appearing at the top or bottom of the browser and click on it to see the VeriSign certificate issued to the site, authenticating it as the official website of Federal Bank. Alternatively click on the VeriSign icon to see the certificate. Follow the precautions mentioned there in, while viewing.
- Federal Bank never sends e-mail and embedded links asking you to provide personal details such as your Account number, Debit Card number, ATM PIN or Online Banking passwords. If you receive such e-mails, never respond to them.
- Do not let your computer remember your password. Never accept auto complete option provided by your computer/ browser.
- Change passwords at least once every 60 (sixty) days.
- Do not provide user-id and password on any page that appears when you click on a hyperlink received through email.
- Never access the internet banking from an un-trusted system.
- Install the latest Antivirus software on your computer system. This will reduce the risk of virus attacks. Always update antivirus software periodically which will resist newer viruses.
- Install personal firewall on your computer system. This will provide additional level of security.
- Do NOT download from unfamiliar sources. It may contain hidden programs or viruses that can compromise your computer's security.
- Avoid accessing your Internet Banking account from a cyber cafe or a shared computer. However, if you happen to do so, change your password from your personal computer at the earliest.

- एन्क्रिप्शन के बिना किसी भी इलेक्ट्रॉनिक डिवाइस (मोबाइल/डेस्कटॉप/लैपटॉप या इसी तरह के डिवाइस सहित) पर किसी फ़ाइल में पासवर्ड स्टोर न करें।
- अपना यूज़र-आईडी अगर आप कोई सामान्य से अलग परिवर्तन देखते हैं और महसूस करते हैं कि आपकी व्यक्तिगत जानकारी चुराने का प्रयास किया गया है, तो उसकी रिपोर्ट करने के लिए कृपया fednetinfo@federalbank.co.in को मेल करें या हमारे टोल फ़्री नंबर 1800-420-1199 / 1800-425-1199 पर कॉल करें।
- अपने पासवर्ड कभी साझा न करें। अपना पासवर्ड किसी को न बताएं। इसे गुप्त ही रखें।
- ब्राउज़र के ऊपर या नीचे दिखाई देने वाले पैडलॉक आइकन को देखें और साइट पर जारी किए गए वेरीसाइन सर्टीफिकेट को देखने के लिए उस पर क्लिक करें, इसे फेडरल बैंक की आधिकारिक वेबसाइट के रूप में प्रमाणित करें। वैकल्पिक रूप से सर्टीफिकेट देखने के लिए वेरीसाइन आइकन पर क्लिक करें। देखते समय उसमें बताई गई सावधानियों का पालन करें।
- फेडरल बैंक कभी भी ई-मेल और एम्बेडेड लिंक नहीं भेजता है जिसमें आपसे व्यक्तिगत विवरण जैसे कि आपका खाता नंबर, डेबिट कार्ड नंबर, ATM PIN या ऑनलाइन बैंकिंग पासवर्ड बताने के लिए कहा जाता है। अगर आपको ऐसे ई-मेल प्राप्त होते हैं, तो उनका कभी भी उत्तर न दें।
- अपने कंप्यूटर को अपना पासवर्ड याद न रखने दें। अपने कंप्यूटर/ब्राउज़र द्वारा प्रदान किए गए ऑटो कंप्लीट विकल्प को कभी भी स्वीकार न करें।
- हर 60 दिनों में कम से कम एक बार पासवर्ड बदलें।
- जब आप ईमेल के माध्यम से प्राप्त हाइपरलिंक पर क्लिक करते हैं तो दिखाई देने वाले किसी भी पेज पर यूज़र-आईडी और पासवर्ड न बताएं।
- कभी भी किसी अविश्वसनीय सिस्टम से इंटरनेट बैंकिंग का उपयोग न करें।
- अपने कंप्यूटर सिस्टम पर नवीनतम एंटीवायरस सॉफ़्टवेयर इंस्टॉल करें। इससे वायरस के हमले का खतरा कम होगा। इस एंटीवायरस सॉफ़्टवेयर का निरंतर अपडेट नए वायरस के लिए अधिक प्रतिरोध प्रदान करेगा।
- अपने कंप्यूटर सिस्टम पर पर्सनल फ़ायरवॉल इंस्टॉल करें। यह अतिरिक्त स्तर की सुरक्षा प्रदान करेगा।
- अपरिचित स्रोतों से डाउनलोड में छिपे हुए प्रोग्राम या वायरस हो सकते हैं जो आपके कंप्यूटर की सुरक्षा को ख़तरे में डाल सकते हैं।
- साइबर कैफ़े या शेयर्ड कंप्यूटर से अपने इंटरनेट बैंकिंग खाते को एक्सेस करने से बचें। अगर आप ऐसा करते हैं, तो अपने खुद के कंप्यूटर से अपना पासवर्ड अवश्य बदल लें।
- निम्नलिखित चरणों का उपयोग करते हुए हमेशा पूरी तरह से लॉगआउट करें:
